Handmade ceremonial jacket made from water buffalo bone discs embroidered onto a natural fiber crochet vest. It comes from Toraja on the beautiful island Sulawesi in Indonesia.
In ancient times vests like these were worn by warriors during battles as a status symbol. Today they are used in traditional ceremonial dances.
