This is a beautiful incised and designed large gourd vegetable dyed bowl from Burkina Faso. Made from a dried gourd, this bowl was used for holding dry goods or as a water drum. Late 20th-Century. Shows some age and discoloration and slightly irregular shaped, but in good condition. Can be displayed empty, filled or placed on wall.
